Quest World is a tabletop RPG inspired by Dungeon World, offering a fresh take on the popular game system with its D6-only mechanics, reworked classes, and no alignments or races. The damage system:

Quest World uses d6s with a modifier for each class for it's damage system instead of the traditional range of d4-d10 from Dungeon World. This design philosophy aims to eliminate the unsatisfying results when martial classes roll 1s on their damage dice and fictionally fail at achieving their goal of harming their opponents. (An NPC 1 armor can technically survive and potentially negate a successful 10+ roll from a heroic and powerful barbarian).

The previous design goes against the philosophy of PBTA.

I love this hack. Is there any way I could get the template for the playbooks so I can make my own?

Hi there, thank you for your support and kind words! I'll work on it and upload a clean sheet. I made them using google slides. You might want to adjust them for a letter size if you are in the US. They are A4 by default.

I have decided to upload the wizard sheet since it holds the best format for editing including a spell sheet. A clean sheet would have messed up the format but this way you can edit as you like without losing the integrity or the organization of the playbook sheet.

The Upper Hand

You take +1 to your Last Breath rolls. When you roll a 7-9 on your Last Breath roll, Death’s offer has to be in line with one of your appetites.

New added move "Berserker's Rage":

Berserker’s Rage

When you fight an enemy that injured you or caused you a physical debility, your next damage against them is Brutal.

I am the Law made more viable. It reads as follows:

I Am the Law

When you give an NPC an order according to your divine authority, roll +CHR. On a 7+ choose one of the options below, the GM cannot use that option:

    ●   They do what you say.

    ●   They attack you.

    ●   The attempt to flee.

On a 10+ you also take +1 Forward against them. On a miss, you find out that your divine powers does not affect them or have authority here.

Wizard

Changed the Evocation speciality: 

Evocation : You can fire small, magical projectiles (1d6+2, near, magical, ammo 3); when you use them to Volley, roll +INT. You replenish your ammo when you prepare spells.


Added and changed some spells in the Wizard's spell list
